semi auto-biographical anatomy poem

stand. leaning forward
supporting your affected
arm and gently "rock
 the baby" forwards and
back.

this can be done
whilst sitting in a chair.

repeat 6-10 times.

stand. leaning forward
supporting your affected
 arm and gently "rock
the baby" toward your
affected side and back
(side to side).

this can be done
 whilst sitting in a chair.

repeat 6-10 times.

stand. hold and support
the wrist of the arm you
want to exercise.

gently straighten and
 bend your elbow with
your supporting hand.

repeat 10 times.

forehead on table,
palm turned down.
alternatively turn palm
up and down keeping
your elbow still. move as
if turning a doorknob.

repeat 10 times.

 support your forearm.

 make a fist, then
straighten your fingers
and bend your wrist
upwards.

repeat 10 times.

to help stop your neck
from feeling stiff, look
after your posture and
gently move your neck.

sit up tall. gently tilt
 your head toward one
 shoulder until you feel the stretch on the
opposite side.

repeat to the other side.

repeat 5 times. 

sit up as tall as before.

turn your head to one
side until you feel a
stretch.

repeat to the other side.

repeat 5 times.

sit up as tall as before.

pull your chin in,
keeping your neck
and back straight (not
tipping your head
forwards).
hold at the end positior
and feel the stretch  in
your neck.

repeat 5 times
